Not knowing Shadow Lake I google earthed it. Interesting that there are two Shadow Lakes a mere 7 miles apart.
Mule ears mean I've made it to the mountains but as for making a cologne that smells like that? I'll pass

Nice hike to another beautiful Sierra lake.
I am sure the fly rod enjoyed the ride.
There a lot of beautiful lakes like that but no fish.
