Thought I would up-date you on my XPCamper and its first shakedown trip. As I stated months ago, I purchased Marc's prototype XP 1.1. Since then, LR1 as it is known to me, has gone through a transformation, with a new molded interior as well as a new door system. All and all I am pretty happy with the out come but still have some tweaking to due. The first set of pics is of my trip to the Alabama Hills, Mammoth Mtn and June Lake followed by some interior pics and mounting to my F350

Marc, great news it's on your truck and on the road! Thanks for keeping us posted along with your photos. This is exciting stuff and we appreciate your updates! Happy travels!

All I can say is "about dang time man!!"

All kidding aside, we are really stoked for you Marc, can't wait to see that thing in person. Looked like a beautiful trip to the Sierras.

That is a great shake down cruse and awsome camper. I'm glad to see it up and running. Can't wait to see the XP and you in person.

I'm 100% behind the Flamingo Wrangler! Great looking rig, Marc!

Nice looking shake down trip, sun/snow/desert!

Did you not buy a set of jacks or was fork lifting the camper on easier? The XP looks like it has a notable amount more overhang past your windshield than your cougar did, have you had enough time to get a feel on any effects from that (drag, wind buffetting, etc)?

Are you able to open/close that reworked door from the inside reasonably enough with the top down?

Edit: Picture 037, is the top not up all the way yet? (the soft side is open and it doesn't appear taunt)

Looking good Marc, that is one sweet rig! Glad to see you decided against the Winnebago

Such a beautiful area, was just in June last weekend myself.
