Shore power

I have a 2015 fleet, when plugged into shore power I hear a fan running from inside the cabinet. Heater is off, water heater is off, vent fan is off, refrigerator is off. Unplug the shore power and charge by solar the noise goes away, is this normal?

The fan you hear is from the converter.

Likliest source is the cooling fan in the Iota converter/charger. Should be able to verify it by locating the Iota and listening. Once the batteries are charged and the charger switches to float mode, the noise should diminish.

Thanks for the help. fan was located in the battery compartment and once fully charged it stopped.

A slight aside... If you get a popping noise when connecting shore power, you can trip the circuit breaker before you plug in, then reset once connected. It eliminates a little arcing at the plug.
