Huge road trip today here in IL. My ground hog came out on this first beautiful day a first in three months. She came out long enough to see her shadow and crawled back in the hole. Been a crazy winter here record low temperatures and a ton of snow. And for added fun high winds on a couple of snow events. Looking forward for some road trips once spring is here to stay. The winter combined with the Covid crisis has kept us home and limited contacts with others. Despite all the safety precautions Carol and I still contracted Covid in December. Fortunately we had mild symptoms and got through the ordeal fine. Neighbors were great and did our grocery shopping and delivered to our door step. (Farm Country Living). Carol tested for antibodies at three months and she still has them in her system. We both should be eligible for the vaccine next month depending on availability. Looks like a great week of thawing and sunshine to brighten our days ahead. Hopefully you all are doing well and enjoying longer trips!

Wayne, great to hear you both recovered well from Covid. It sure is nice to see the sun and bright blue skies, isn't it! We have marmots around here, high elevation ground hogs. We've taken to celebrating "Snow Plow Day" up at Echo Summit on February 2nd. CalTrans pulls a snow plow out of the garage and if it sees its shadow - six more weeks of winter.

Your photos of the snow sure don't make me wish I was there.
Hope your feeling a lot better from the Covid issue.
Stay safe.
Spring is a few days away.So that's some good news.
Frank
