O.K. We had a little bit of a plan, head over to the coast from Roseville and work our way back through the mountains. My wife and our dog in our truck and my friend Tom and his dog in his chevy truck.

I've found memories of Humbug Valley from my days in Chico.

DD, if you haven't yet, look into the history of the valley and how it got it's name. I'm not 100% sure that the story that I think that I read is correct, but if it is then it is a story right up your alley.
