It is with the heaviest of hearts that we need to post our 2010 Four Wheel Camper Eagle for sale. We need more space to be able to continue to work from the road as we travel the country, and if it wasn’t for our jobs, we would never let this thing go. But alas, the jobs need to stay, so we’re going to move towards a flatbed model.

The Eagle is a shell model and we are more than happy to discuss in detail all the upgrades that we have done to it. It has:
  • Rollover sofa on the driver’s side. This is a rare configuration and one we love, as the sofa doesn’t jut into the doorway and the sofa faces the big passenger window instead of blocking it.
  • Fantastic fan
  • 200Ah auxillary battery. The battery is a Vmax Tank 4D and brand new, we just installed and started using it about 4 or 5 months ago.
  • 3 marine-grade 12V outlets
  • 1500W inverter directly wired to the battery with heavy-duty wiring. We set it up this way to handle a low voltage hair dryer, which is does beautifully.
  • All lighting has been upgraded to LED throughout
  • Installed a latched cabinet in the passenger side corner underneath the bed
  • Yakima tracks/racks on the roof
  • Two 100W solar panels attached to the Yakima tracks. We had the FWC factory install a solar plug on the roof. All necessary solar accessories have also been wired in – WindyNation charge controller, etc.
  • Interior lift assist struts. We wanted to remove the interior struts and replace with exterior, so we just had FWC install exterior brackets on the front and back for the struts. All you would need to do is buy the struts and snap them in, and we have details of the exact struts you’d need to buy courtesy of Aaron at FWC. The hard work of measuring out where the brackets need to go, moving the latches, adjusting the back raingutter, etc. is already done!
  • 4 camper jackstands and turnbuckles
  • All electrical has been done with 8 and 10G wiring by an electrician with appropriate fusing for each connection.
  • Seamless roof and curved doorway with screen door.
  • Igloo 5 gallon water cooler, new
We also have added accessories we would be willing to sell if the buyer was interested (these extra items complete the off-grid system).
  • Indel B/TruckFridge 40L portable fridge, only been in use for 4-5 months and has been excellent.
  • RoadShower. We got this used and we have it installed on the Yakima racks on the camper. We also have a never-used popup privacy tent we can add.
  • Stowaway2 Cargo Hitch Carrier with swingaway arm. We love this for the added storage space.
  • Mr. Heater Buddy MH9BX portable indoor propane heater with CO2 detector and tipping auto-shutoff.
  • 6 foot sturdy plastic folding table (Lifetime brand)
We have built this camper to be completely sustainable for off-grid camping, and it is. We have been taking it out on trips over the last year and we’ve recently spent the month of February using it in the desert, and the solar system is enough to power our fridge 24/7, charge all our electronics and work equipment, and run the lights with lots of room to spare. And even if the weather gets lousy, the 200Ah battery will last for days on its own. It is truly perfect for the boondocker.

If the buyer is looking to purchase the camper and our truck as a package, we are also willing to negotiate the sale of both together. The truck is a 2003 Toyota Tundra SR5, 4WD, 3.4L V6, 5-speed manual transmission – a rare configuration.153,XXX miles. 3-inch lift, offroad tires and they’re newer. Leather interior. It went in for a full service about 2,000 miles ago and the mechanic cleared it for the next 50,000 miles. It is in beautiful shape and doesn’t need a thing. The camper was installed and wired to the truck by the FWC factory and it is the perfect fit for the truck – fits flush with the truck bed for a clean look and open sightlines. We installed Firestone airbags to help with the camper weight.

LOCATION: Camper is in the Dayton, OH area and will remain there until sold.

Again, it is heartbreaking to even think of selling our camper (or the truck!). This rig is a boondocking machine, and we really hope to find someone who will love it and enjoy it as much as we have.
