SOLD: 2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X slide-in, pop-up pickup camper.
Note: OEV renamed the CAMP-X model to the Backcountry as of the 2023 model year.

Features:
Each year, the camper was on the pickup for about 6 months then off 6 months. When on the truck, the entire rig is parked in my shop unless being driven (I work from home). When off the pickup, camper was stored in the same shop. So has not been stored or sat outside except when being driven/used (read: no long term weather and sun wear and tear).
This camper is titled and the title is free and clear (there was no loan tied to the title).

- Two 11lb propane tanks. Camper only came with one but I added a second. Having two 11lb rather than one 20lb is handy if you want to pull one out for use around the campsite. Also if you want to only carry one to lighten the camper.

- REDARC combination solar controller, DC/DC charger and AC/DC charger
- Two 120v AC outlets powered when plugged into shore power

- Queen sized cabover bed with king bed extension. We never used the king bed extension and so removed and stored it since new. The OEV mattress has never been used because we had a memory foam mattress from our previous camper that we used. Mattress has been stored in climate-controlled house bedroom; not garage or attic
- Two roof fans/vents. Cabover fan is offset to drivers side (was done custom, for us, by OEV during construction)
- I replaced double USB outlet with one that can be powered off (original was always illuminated and always drew power). There are also two 12v outlets in cabin.
- OEV custom cushions to eliminate the seem where you sit and allow open shelf below the window.
- Enough headroom to sit at dinette with top down.
- Enough room, with top down, to leave bedding and pillows in cabover unlike some pop-top campers.
- REDARC Manager 30 is a combination solar controller, DC/DC charger and AC/DC charger. It has a max of 30amps throughput and prioritizes green power, meaning if there is solar input, it first uses that and, if more power is called for, then it uses AC/DC or DC/DC to make up the remainder.
- REDARC input amps can also be set from 5amps up to 30amps so if you are plugged into an 120v circuit and want to limit draw on that circuit, you can set it lower. Or, if you want to limit the speed that the battery chargers or limit the DC draw on your pickup alternator, you can do so. It also has charge profiles for AGM and Lithium.
- Includes pickup tie-down brackets and enough livestock mats to allow use with any height pickup bed rails.
- Camper sides and acrylic window have mild pinstripes from trail tree branches. I'll be polishing the acrylic window before delivery.
- The front fan will very occasionally throw an error (start beeping) when first turned on. To reset, it requires removal of fuse from the fuseblock to reset it, which is quick and easy. It's doesn't happen often enough and it's hard to duplicate so I've not tried to chase it down, but something to be aware of.
- Black countertops rather than bamboo (to us, the black matches the grey cabinets better).
- Pop-top windows use large zippers rather than velcro.
- Screen door doesn't have the thick black “cage” material; it is just screen
- Sage green dinette cushions rather than dark green
- Porta-potty drawer has a handy slide-out which is no longer included in late model campers
- King bed extension is the first generation plywood rather than second gen aluminum.
- No built-in awning brackets. We prefer to not have a fixed awning since they never seem to put shade in the right place, are prone to branch/trail damage and they weigh a lot. If we needed extra shade, we attached a tarp to the roof L track on the sunny side of the camper and anchored the other end of the tarp to the ground. We also use a portable screen house which is nice for shade and bugs protection so we chose no attached awning. There are also slick portable awnings that work better than attached awnings and can be put up on whatever side the sun/rain/campsite layout dictates.
- REDARC and battery box are located in the same, under-dinette cabinet as the water tank (I prefer this because solar controllers and battery chargers should be as close as possible to the battery bank. New campers have the solar controller/battery chargers up on the galley countertop much further away from the battery bank)

- 30amp shore power plug (requires a 30amp adapter which I'll include)
- Two 120v outlets in the camper. They are powered when on shore power. This is nice if you want something plugged in, beyond the battery charger, while at a camp spot or during storage (electric heater, dehumidifier, etc.)
- Dometic 2-way fridge is wired to both DC and AC circuits and gives AC power priority. This means if you are plugged into shore power, there is no draw on your battery from the fridge.
- Two 11lb propane tanks rather than one 20lb tank. Having two 11lb is handy if you want to pull one out for use around the campsite. Also nice if you want to only carry one to lighten the camper or want to leave camper furnace running while an empty is taken to get refilled.
