Hawk and Four Wheel Drive Tundra heading for New Orleans for holidays.
Out from Calif on the 40 to Flagstaff (nice to visit in winter), then Albuquerque (great mariachis and food) and Amarillo (Big Texan is great fun) and Dallas and Shreveport onto New Orleans. If bad roads, especially ice in Oklahoma and Texas-- we will head for El Paso from Albuquerque and out on the 10. Done this trip yearly and it takes a long two days to cross Texas. This year we have the FWC (instead of our Bigfoot Trailer) so the traveling should be smoother and quicker. Fuel mileage won't be much better but at least fuel is cheaper heading east. Maybe we will see ya on the road!
