Spring 2016 Lots of Crayons

Borrowing a term, this trip used lots of the crayons in the box; greens, blues, grays, browns, reds, etc. I'm not always the best at remembering to take pictures nor do I always take the best photos when I do but the first two installments are finally up and the third should be written and up this weekend.

Wow, what a trip and so many miles! Looking forward to part three.

Part 3 Northbound 2016 is up and completes the circuit of 4500+ miles.

Now it's time for a few weekend trips and to start planning the next couple longer trips.

The trailer istitled as an Oakland Utility Body, not sure what it really is. It came out of Oregon where small trailers don't require titles or licenses so WSP had to do an inspection and stamped the serial number from the box onto the tongue to make it more official. I can tell you that the trailer pulls great and it had no problems on any of the roads that we took it on. Having things somewhat protected from the elements and locked away out of sight was a nice plus, I did have some leakage through the back doors on the drive down.

I use to drive the old truck on our trips with dad. My first miles were on logging roads getting to and from the trail head. Big week or two week back country trips. It was nerve wracking trying to keep a E250 van from chattering, bouncing off the road, that thing drove horribly. Ha ha..

I'm adding some of your spots to our must see list.
