Stain color

I have a 2001 Eagle. I have done and I'm doing various remodeling projects that involve the interior woodwork. For the life of me I cannot find a stain that matches the existing stain. Does anyone who has a camper built in the same era know what stain to use. The wood is oak plywood and the stain is dark like a walnut stain?

It's likely a plastic veneer over the plywood. I believe that's what my 2000 had. For stain matching I start with manufacture's samples and mix and match from there. There is no perfect.

On my 2000 Ranger, I'm thinking I used minwax golden oak and clear poly. It was a little lighter but not bad...

Buy a couple small cans of Minwax, golden oak and med. oak and mix you own custom color till you get what you want.
