Standard or Metric

Hello all, as we are getting ready to go full time it is also time to pare down my tool kit/bags. Will a new FWC use metric or standard fasteners? Thanks !

My best guess is FWC will use SAE fasteners. That said, depending on what vehicle your camper is on, you might consider carrying a set of metric wrenches and sockets.

We carry both since so much 'blending' of standards has been going on. Your vehicle, the camper, any extra gear you have -- could be metric or SAE.

Oh, yes, currently carrying both as the trailer is standard and the tow vehicle is metric. Nothing will change then as Ford is all metric

I don’t want to start a kerfluffle, but I do wish the US would have adopted the metric standard.
