Has anyone here installed props to keep the under seat storage lids open? I have the roll over couch with storage underneath.

Something like this.

or even just this.

I find it a bit of a pain to load things in and out with one hand while holding the lid open with the other. I think I'm also going to add some locks to provide some semi secure storage options.

I could have used something like this about a million times...but I usually grab some random object to prop the lid up.
A permanent solution would be a good thing -- maybe one of those linked. :)

I just riveted a piece of Velcro long enough to reach the back cushion. I also place some Velcro tape to the back to keep it out of the way when not in use

I use something similar to BobM, but I used 3 small rounded head screws and braided twine. Secured the twine to the back of the roll over couch with a screw and put the other screws under the lids. I left a gap under the 2 lid screws and made loops in the twine to slip over the screw heads.

We use center lid supports like this:

You can buy a roll of the Velcro at Home depot or even cheaper at Harbor Freight Tools. Comes in handy for so many things. I even use them to keep my water hose coiled.

P.s. I also use it through the handles of grocery bags to keep them from sliding around
