How I finally Learned The True Value Of Striking It Rich At Age 50

Great story with a wonderful message. I've known Cathy and Geno for quite a few years, but hadn't heard about the gold mining side much. I take their couple's portrait at another event every year, where I also work as photographer.

I met Cathy while demo-ing snowshoes up at Donner Summit and we've ran into each other on the ski trails ever since. Cathy and I will be working the BSM Women's Triathlon this weekend. Cathy has been an amazing executive director for this event which raises funds for breast cancer and nursing scholarships. This Sunday is the event and we're hoping the smoke free skies will stay with us.

The Lady and I met Cathy many many years ago when we all taught for an outdoor skills workshop put on by California Parks & Recreation. A wonderful and talented person, always with a can do positive attitude. The world could do no better than to have more folks like Cathy & Geno. Lighthawk, please give them our best this weekend!
