TCM Review

Pretty good review, mercifully light on the writers usual "humour" and rambling preamble.

I'd say the unit doesn't appear to have much interior storage. The writer neglected the dinette area storage spaces (under seats, floor and behind seat backs)

"If this camper and concept were introduced in 2019, would it still impress and sell?"

Good question. Hard to imagine without all that history. Definitely they show well in person.

I think the fact that an Alaskan will often gather a few inquisitive campers wherever you go indicates that even if it was just introduced, it would still command interest an comparisons for potential buyers....and a fair share of just plain nosy types in camp.

^ point taken.

I really meant, hard to imagine the scenario where it would indeed be a new concept, being that these particular campers have been seen and remembered by so many of us, for so many years.

It’s interesting that they keep harping on the difficulty in dismounting the camper from the truck while camping..

Does anyone really do that? Maybe some full size truck campers might in campgrounds but I suspect that most pop up users don’t.

Ya know I had a fisherman and full time camper friend that did it every time he moved to a new fishing/camping spot. When it was time to move to a new place, he would load on the camper, hitch up his boat and off to a new fishing place, unload and set up the camper, pull his boat to the boat launch and go fishing! Even had sat.TV-worked for him!
