Katie Lee, folk singer and environmentalist passed away today at age 98. She was well known for her support of issues on the Colorado River.

Saw that in my FB feed earlier today. Was up in Jerome on Monday, forgot that she lived there.

Been a rough week for the outdoor/environmental community as Fred Beckey went off belay on Monday.
