The Ultimate redneck camper!

I don't believe FWC or ATC have a lawn mower option. Not sure why you'd mow the pasture where the cattle are grazing but perhaps it was just for the demonstration.

Thanks for posting,

In the post-war years of the late 1940s and early 1950s, Willys marketed Jeeps as substitutes for tractors, complete with PTO front and rear. Since I speak "redneck" I was able to understand the gentleman farmer when he first pointed out the rear PTO and said the truck would do most anything a Ford 8N tractor could do.

And that truck served at Angola State Prison in Louisiana! Lawd-a-Mercy, if that cage in the bed could talk. The 1940s and 1950s were not good times to have an Angola mailing address. That and Parchman, Mississippi and the East Texas prisons were tough addresses to live at. Think "Cool Hand Luke" in the flesh.

I saw that a while back. That old Willy's is a rare bird. The enclosed bed cap was custom ordered I'm sure. My BIL collects Willy's Jeeps and has a 49 pickup. But it doesn't have that enclosed bed.
