I bought a mid 90's ranger (8 foot) and it has a full tank of propane. I've been through the steps to light the pilot, but no luck. Does anyone have some tips/tricks/or things I should look for, or that I might not be doing?

Any insights as to what brand refer or stove? That might help. All of the RV stoves we have had required some sort of sparker or match to light, no pilot.

It's the factory installed stove and fridge that run on propane from the mid 90's. It has the sparker, and the pilot light, and instructions. I've tried following them and it just never fires up. I'll keep trying.

Thanks for the replies, I got it figured out! I had to get the electric turned on inside the camper first at the circuit board. Had my first cuppa tea in the camper while cleaning today.
