Tire Self Extraction Device

Found two of these today, anyone know anything about them?
No one at the estate sale knew anything about them.


Company name, product name?

Any current owners of these out there?
Care to share any experiences using them?
Any idea of what they sell for new?

Absolutely nothing stamped or printed on them.
Steel construction, approximately 3 lbs. each unit.
These were never used, they are like new.



Folded in "store it" position. About 5" x 6" x 1.25".

Unfolded, ready to be placed under the front of the tire, (I'm guessing they are used as shown).
About 16" - 18" long unfolded, not very long.

Probably not used this way.

If I remember correctly they where used to get you moving in slippery conditions and could be used to install chains.

Never seen those before. Looks like either your tires will lack traction or the device would slide out from under you depending on how it was used. Nice way it folds up though. Very compact.
