I have been bookmarking Camper and Blog reports. Some are very active "Ski3pins" some not so much. Some are very detailed and have great information "Mello Mikes". Some just pictures. If you have a travel blog or one you follow please post a link.

Note several of these Blogs are from WTW members.

Yes, thanks for putting this list together.

WS, a lot of us use Google's free engine (all the blogspot.com ones). You should be able to set up an account at www. blogger.com.

Bill, thanks for posting!

Out of curiosity, what provider/blog engine seems to be the best/favorite of those that are using them?
What highz said, blogspot works well and it is free.

Do you host your photos on a site for your photography? I think most of them these days have a blog page you can add to your site. I use zenfolio for mine they have a ton of options. It's not free however.

Bill, thanks for posting the list. I have also been following this one lately: http://songoftheroad.com/

I use blogspot for the blog and picasa to host pictures. They are pretty well integrated making it easy. I haven't posted to the blog since our last trip in September. We didn't get out again before we had to put the camper away for the winter. In the meantime I enjoy reading about others travels.

WS,I am a bone head when it comes to these new fangled things you call computers.
The blogspot is easy to use and I like free.
I have to thank Ski for his help with my blog setup.
IMO this is a nice way to post trips.I can give the address to friends and family so they can follow the report.Keeps me from sending a bunch of pictures to different people.
Have fun with your blog when you set one up.

I use Flickr, then link to them from the forum. If you don't mind ads, it's free. Ad free is $29/year. My only gripe is that they change things, sometimes radically, without notice. What I like is the ability to create/join interest groups that range from camera gear, types of photography, geographic areas, and just about anything you want. It's also similar to WTW, in that you develop a small community of like minded people, sometimes on the far side of the globe.

Here's a link to my photostream.

Zen also has community boards as well but I don't have the time to be a part of them. I've got too many forums to watch as it is. ;) Zen adds features all of the time but it doesn't change anything on my page. I started out with a pretty inexpensive plan so family and friends could see what's going on. I think when I started it was around $30/year also. I've upgraded plans tho and it costs me a bit more to keep it as well as getting rid of the zen branding not that it's a big deal. As mentioned it's easier to put everything in one place and link to it rather than writing many different posts. I do a side job here and there and it's great to upload them and folks can see and then download the photo's they want. Not that I'm any good, I don't call myself a photographer, more like a hack. :) You're photo's are great BTW! Dream job...landscape and wildlife photographer!

Thanks for including me, Bill. It's obvious from the URL I use blogger/blogspot and it works very well.

I first upload my photos to Google+ into separate albums by subject. That makes it easy to add them into the post as I compose it. When I first started the blog I uploaded them directly from my computer, but that quickly became cumbersome. This makes posting easier and simple to go back and look at the photos, too.

p.s., after several months hiatus I've posted a new trip.

Hmmm, I am wondering which photo you saw that shows me on a motorcycle. No, not me. Maybe on the back of one when I was younger. Hubby used to ride trailbikes but he was younger, too. Now, I am puzzled. After my sister's 3rd divorce, she bought a brand new turquoise Honda or similar and rode across the passes here in Washington. They look like lots of fun but I am not the world's best driver.
