Trip 2006: An Arc of Jewels Over the Head of Tonopah

This trip occurred Memorial Day weekend, 2006. I was living in Big Pine, CA at the time. The travels focus on central Nevada. It was a memorable trip with ever changing vistas and weather. This trip account was once on my former website, and is in three parts. Converted to .pdf format. Enjoy!

For a little comparison of several locations that I mention in the above story, I submit these photos of the cousin jack that I camped at in 1983 and 2006 (I found the cousin jack a couple months later when I passed through again on another trip); the old brick building in Grantsville in 1983 and in 2006; and the old historic Cosmopolitan Hotel in 1983 and 2006.
