I can't recall if that battery box is vented... those look like Flooded Lead Acid batteries... are they?

The battery compartment is vented.

I use and recommend a snow rake for clearing the roof in winter as it works far better than a broom or shovel.

Hah, funny, I Just ordered one of those on ebay this last weekend. It has little lights to guide my midnight urges to push snow.

Continuing with the Trout1 Project. The front bumper got installed and the 12k winch tucked away nicely inside.


Also spend a day in the workshop fabing a roof rack to take up the space between the cab roof and the cabover bed of the csamper. The rack serves a few purposes; a minor wind dam, esthetics, house front and side LED lights and there is an expanded metal area to hold my chainsaw and a dry bag of what I do not know yet, maybe some more firewood too. I have Yakama track rails on the roof already and it bolted nicely to the inserts.
