Acting preemptively in light of Australia's overwhelming dominance in light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers, trailers and expedition vehicles, the United States Congress has quietly passed a transportation bill that will require all truck campers to be light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up's. Many industry insiders said that the only true lightweight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers are currently being manufactured by All Terrain Campers and Four Wheel Campers.

At a press conference today, Department Of Transportation spokesman Stew Pidd announced that "We can't lag behind Australia's progressive stance towards true lightweight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers." The bill not only limits the manufacturing of all new truck campers, it retroactively applies to any truck camper on the road, and will take effect as early as February 31, 2017.

"In the interest of public safety," Pidd explains, "law enforcement officials will clamp down on any and all camper owners who violate the law." Pidd continued that lightweight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers are the future of the American dream for "tread lightly, camp 24/7" and fuel independence.

The bill outlines numerous electronic and mechanical implements that will assist in making a vintage, wood frame, truck camper, lighter in weight. For instance, the interior of all vintage, wood frame, truck campers will have an inflatable bladder that can automatically and instantaneously be filled with helium when moving to help aid the vintage, wood frame, truck camper become more lightweight. When the vintage, wood frame, truck camper is not moving the bladder's helium will be automatically compressed back into its storage canister to be re-used the next time the camper is moving. It is very important that no one be inside the camper when the camper first starts to move. However, injuries if they happen, will be covered by Affordable Care Act at no cost to anyone but the government. In instances where owners choose to retain the authenticity of their heavy vintage, wood frame, truck campers, the tires can also be filled with helium and a bladder of helium can be attached to the top of the vintage, wood frame, truck camper. At the discretion of state police, mobile weighing scales may be utilized for field tests, or a peace officer may perform a lift test requiring the vintage, wood frame, truck camper owners to lift the rear wheels of their truck camper off the ground by at least 1 inch. The law also allows all EPA penalties to be cancelled on the emissions from any accidental release of helium.

If an owner prefers to turn in their existing heavy, vintage, wood frame, truck camper, they will earn credits toward the future purchase of a light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck camper.

There has been no comment from All Terrain Campers or Four Wheel Campers, though Forbes reports that interest has dramatically increased in All Terrain Campers and Four Wheel Camper on the announcement of passage of this beneficial law. Specifically, the interest in Four Wheel Campers jumped because they quietly put a trademark on “Pop Up Pick Up Truck Campers (PUPUTC)″ a few months back. Four Wheel Campers will be the only company who can successfully market any clothing as having the authentic “PUPUTC” on their jackets, pants, t-shirts and underwear. It is rumored that the prices of their clothing will be comparable to Gucci's.

The Truck Camper Industry Council has lobbied against the bill, in addition to most heavy, wood framed, truck camper manufacturers. All Terrain Campers and Four Wheel Campers are, of course, very pleased with the legislation, as they hope to finally dominate the market for light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers designed for the American outdoors person.

In other news, Elon Musk has decided to manufacture a fuel cell powered pick up truck that will be able to carry the newly mandated light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck campers. Musk announced that the solar panels installed on the roof of the light weight, aluminium frame, pop-up truck camper, will power an electrolysis unit that will split water to make oxygen and hydrogen, the hydrogen will be captured, while the oxygen will be released into the atmosphere. The hydrogen will power the fuel cell making electricity driving the four, motors located at each wheel with the fuel cell exhaust being water which will be further split into oxygen and hydrogen starting the cycle all over again. Deposits in the amount of $10,000 USD are being taken immediately. Send your check to Tesla's Vice President of Finance, Iben Foolenyu.

I bet they specified ATC and FWC only, as well.

It's true. As a matter of fact I read a story today in the business section of the Sacramento Bee that the two outfits have merged back together.

The new company is now known as WTF! :D
