Great video of the huge rotary plows. I noticed that the UP RR still has the plows marked with the
old SP RR markings.
The next video is of the old early 1900s rotary plow on the Cumbers & Toltec RR out of Chama NM.

That is quit a machine. The way it can turn around on the frame sure helps the job.
That eliminates the need for two blowers like in the UP video or having to turn
the whole train around.

That's a lot of snow. We visited that area in 2001,summer.
Didi you notice the "cogs" ? I think that's the cog railway from Zermatt,
that ends at the view point for the Matterhorn.

I guess the snow was just too deep even for that plow.
