I have a Sure Power 1314 that is NOT one of those on recall. I switched it out only to find I did not need to - but it is done. Postage and hassle would be covered at $10.

Looks won't tell you. If it is a Sure Power 1314 then it is only on recall if the serial number is between 09004545 and 11002845.
Mine is 09002556.
