It was a Grandby and in my price range , we all know its tough to find one let alone in the $ range your looking for and somewhat local for me thanks Ski , the hi's and the lows

Camper looks like a Ranger II with the wings removed. Exterior looks in better shape than ours. Too bad they give no interior photos.


Thanks for your expert eyes. $6,750 for a two wheel drive regular cab and $6,750 for a 18 year old camper seems a little expensive. There is a great Tundra 4x4/Hawk combo for sale in Prince George for what I would consider more reasonable. Since we are both drunk Canadians let me know when you sober up and I can come take a look at your Eagle. I'm hunting for Falcon or Finch and want to know how it would hold up in BC's wet/cold.

I live pretty close to this camper, might be able to take a look at it or otherwise help a forum member.


Looking at photos only tells so much, and I'm in Georgia, a long way to go to look, costly enough to drive my Ranger up to get it if I decided to get it. Does have a good assortment of add on stuff for what I'm after. I do wonder what it has that I'd prefer newer designs too.

Apparently it's been outside since new, though little used. How do you rate a 12 year old camper in that case? Lots of things go bad based on age and weather. Some rusty screws and rust streak in the photos could point at a lot of work needed, or just screw replacement. Seems a bit high priced because of age. Don't know what to offer. I'd love to hear comments from someone who has seen it.

Also your ranger bed or camper may need a slight mod for one of these to sit properly in the bed, if you're not already aware of this. On the driver's side behind the wheel well in the bed you will see a slightly raised area to accommodate a gas tank filler tube underneath - some rangers in the world must have had an option for a tank where the spare is. This will have to be pounded down (a little body work) or a notch cut out in the floor pack in the area the furnace sets. I'll attach a photo of what I did with our old FWC.

A minor annoyance, but good to know before I took off across the country to pick up one of the campers.

It looks like even 18 four wheel campers are holding their value as the "over priced" one and the well priced one I spotted in my province both went within 7 days. If you want one and you don't live in CO, CA, NV or AZ you'll have to pay close to asking price and even there 4wC go fast. I'm thinking of buying a roof top tent and saving for a new one when I pay of my house in 30 years ;)
