The vinyl canvas for the popup part of my camper has been damaged by loose lift panel rivets. Has anyone tried replacing the vinyl for just the front section only? Are there vinyl repair tapes to recommend to do temporary patches. I bought some tenacious tape but its too dark in color.

track down some hh-66 and vinyl to make some patches to patch the holes. I found it at an awning place.

The vinyl is exactly the same material used in inflatable rafts like the one we have. There are a number of repair options including welding (if you have the skill and tools) and adhesive bonding. We've had to repair our rafts and others in the field by carefully sanding the repair area, using methyl-ethly-ketone (MEK) to clean the area (it partially melts the vinyl) then coating both surfaces with adhesive and using a roller to remove air bubbles or creases. A careful job can result in a very clean, factory-quality repair. Should we ever encounter the need with our Hawk, I will reach out to FWC to purchase the correct color vinyl and do the repair myself.

I've got excess 'vinyl' polyester coated vinyl from my full replacement. I'd sell some to you more or less at cost if you just need a bit. And yes, HH-66 is the ticket to glue it all together. Mine is grey in color and 22oz weight (slightly heavier than FWC stock). Let me know how much you think you need and we can work something out.

I also have a lot of adhesive residue where I have pulled off a tenacious tape patch. I have tried removing it with peanut butter and goof off but no luck. Any suggestions?
