Hi Everyone,

I thought it might be good generate a list of Apps that Pop Up users might find useful while they are out doing the business.

Mine are:

1. iHandy Level - I Shuffle the truck around on my intended site until I think it is level. I use this app on the dash, sides of the truck box and the window sill on the back door to get it just right.

2. Suface Level App - for confirmation on the cabinet just below the fridge door and sometimes inside the fridge.

3. World Weather Radar is by far the most accurate weather App. It shows the actual radar and has forecast by the hour. I have found it too be pretty darn close.

4. CBC Radio App keeps me up to date when I have cell service

5. Songza keeps the Waylon Jennings and similar artists on the boom box

6. Gas Buddy lets me know where the closest gas is and where the best price is.

Does anyone have any they use regularly?

Trimble 'Navigator Pro' on the iPhone
Trimble 'My Outdoor Maps Pro' on the iPad with an Elf GPS adapter

Both have maps pre-loaded via iTunes for offline use, if I have a cellular signal I can download maps over wifi to the iPad. Primarily for Forest Road overlays on Topo Maps for navigation and tracking.

'NOAA Radio' when away from the camp radios in the truck and cooktent.

'Scanner 911' has some USFS and BLM channels.
