We have a hard-sided SixPac T-100S camper that we bought new in 2002.

The fresh water has some tiny bits of plastic in it — looks to be the same type of poly-plastic as the tank is made out of. So we are going to replace the tank and fittings.

The manufacturer is El Monte — Model # W126

measurements are 15” W, 16” L, 15” H.

Where can I get one of these?

Do I need to expect to drill the holes and seal for the fittings? Supply line in, line to water pump, air line, and drain line?

the places I have looked at online don’t seem t9 have the correct tank.

Appreciate any help and direction.

Always, Fred

Fred, I suspect the builder may not have cleaned the tank before installing, especially true if they drilled any of the holes. You might be able to flush the tank, and reuse..

If you determine you do need a replacement tank, you might give Plastic-Mart a call. I say this after reading the bottom section of their web page where they say they're an authorized dealer for El Monte Plastics tanks. If they can't get one from El Monte, they may have a cross-reference to another manufacturer's tanks. And if they can't get a tank, they can make it. And they appear willing to deal with individuals.

(Note: I've not dealt with them... I'm only reading their web site. If you try them, please let us know how it went)

Also-- The tank should come with the molded-in portion of the fittings you see on your tank. In other words, you'd add the elbows and flexible hose. I don't see water-level sensors in your photos but can't see all the tank. If you have those, you'd probably also need to drill holes for those sensors. You might confirm that with Plastics-Mart.
