Does anyone have or experimented with a inflatable"doughnut" for lack of a better word between the truck roof and camper.
Many years ago I recall seeing what looked like a inflatable swim devise/aid.
Not sure what they are called.

They are still out there and easy to find online. Our cat likes to go back and forth from truck to camper, so we made a tunnel of wallboard for her. There are several complaints on the Internet about the inflatable leaving scratches on the finish of the truck if left in place.

Careful in placing one of those donuts on the roof of the truck cab under the front upper berth of your camper...

1) If it isn't tight enough it will escape.
2) if it is too tight, it may dent the top of the cab when you hit bumps that cause the frame of the truck to flex a bit.
3) Also possible to perhaps cave in the bottom of the camper as well.

All depends on the donut you use..... if it strong enough to not pop when the truck frame flexes anyway.
