Haven't had the new camper in the rain yet, but it is monsoon season here in CO so its only a matter a time before a t-storm rolls through. So, is it sufficient to only use the clear plastic window that velcro's inside? Or does one have to go let down the outside flaps to keep water out?

windows

Just depends on how hard the rain is being blown into the camper. For most rain storms you can leave the outside flaps up and enjoy the weather.

Just watch for seepage at the bottom corners of the clear cover when you do this. If it starts to seep in, make sure you have a good seal on the clear cover, if you do, than it is probably time to roll down the storm flap, hence it's name.:)
