I'm surprised not to find a wine discussion. I'm not talking being a wine connoisseur, just what you bring along in your camper?

Me? I always carried a small jug of Carlo Rossi Paisano. Heavy glass bottle, nearly indestructible on the trail. Red, semi dry. Otherwise, wine confuses me. So I stick to what I know.

"Hello, I'm Carlo Rossi. I don't like to taste wine. I like to drink it."

No alcohol on any of our trips. Remember, we're the pair that's not any fun. 😊

We enjoy wine in the evening and a beer after an intense hot hike. The trick for us is to know where to restock. I can vouch for the liquor store in Moab, grocery stores in Henderson, Page and Cortez. No problem in Missoula, Spokane, Boise, Phoenix and Tucson. Ely and Winnemucca are so-so. As is Pahrump.

Don't know yet about Reno/Carson City or Fallon.

I avoid the Brigham City to Provo mega-city corridor, so I don't know about that either.

In Nevada, you can restock in any grocery store.

I generally don't carry beer on the trail, it tends to pressurize as does any other carbonated drink. I'd rather drink it, not wear it.

Oh, I forgot. Julie's brand of wine is Scrabble ... ;)

Don't buy anything at the Chevron at the turnoff to Goffs. Most expensive beer and wine I've seen anywhere. Fuel was outrageous too.
