I enjoy the Winter Solstice almost as much as I enjoy the Summer Solstice, primarily because it means the Summer Solstice is halfway back!

Solstice was today at 0505 EST.

Enjoy!

We did, too. :) Nice sunrise lighting up the Elk Horns, but weather didn’t let us see the ISS.

Our moods jumped several points this morning, knowing the days are getting longer now!

We celebrated early this morning outside on the deck. :)
We saw the ISS pass over this morning from the deck and saw the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn this evening. It made for a great Winter Solstice.
