Has anybody installed a wireless backup camera on their truck/camper? I've been thinking about it but it seems like there may be reception issues due to distance and interference from the truck bed or camper.

I did. I posted it on the thread dedicated to backup cameras. It links (is view-able) on my Garmin Nuvi GPS. The camera is a Garmin BC30. The transmitter is mounted on the lower side of my FWC. The area that sits inside the bed. The camera is mounted under the door of the camper. I don't need it when the camper is off the truck. It works great! Here is the link:

dakozicki,

Thanks for the link, I should have done a search first.

Another somewhat pricey wireless system was recently announced: https://pearlauto.com/rearvision

The camera is solar powered and so does not require tapping into the car's power. The system uses a plug-in adapter for the OBD port which transmits to an app on your smart phone. This won't work for everyone and it has not shipped yet, but it's a slick solution for some.

I already have a wired backup camera but I could see using this in the front which would give me a near-360-degree view.
