Since your concern is the time involved to install/remove the legs, what about setting up a quick release system for the legs? I know someone did that and posted about it. I'll look for the thread and post a link when i find it.

Okay so maybe I am being paranoid! I've just heard of people stealing almost everything not bolted down, from 40 foot Royal palms in Miami to the concrete parking space stops in a parking lot. I do have a 2X4 with a nice assortment of nails sticking up (where no one will accidentally step on it)ready for someones rear tire, that should be an attention grabber.

Hmm a quick release. I'm thinking of the hitch pins that slide into the slots of a trailer extension?

My Jeep I just leave the key in the ignition. I turn the battery switch to off. I switch off the power to the msd. Mostly I figure they'll see four shifters and not have clue what does what
