I have an '07 Hawk I picked up last year. I learned through this site that I own a Hawk designed for another truck, with 3" added to the floor to fit over the side rails/cab of certain trucks.
Having seen other trucks with "normal" fitting Hawks, I was thinking I may try and remove the extra flooring to bring it down to the normal height.
Has anyone remove the added flooring from a Hawk?
If not, does anyone have knowledge as to how the extra flooring is built or monted on my style Hawk?
