For a popup I think a 4 liter turbo diesel on a 3/4 ton frame would be the ticket. The Beast is a 6.7 turbo and is way overkill but the 3/4 ton is just right. If only!

It's warm here this week, maybe 80's by Thursday. Snow is already gone except the higher slopes. Everything is really greening up and looks good. Most of April and May have been pretty dry, but that can change. Your timing should be great.

Thanks for looking and the nice feedback. The trip was great but it's also nice to be home in spring. From a city park in town where we were setting up for Wildflower Week and the onslaught of 4th graders.

All I have to offer Smoke is I'm glad you didn't blow up. Trouble shooting is always trial and error, but sometime you have to err on the side of caution and keep the propane off until you can pinpoint the problem. The refer does sound like it could be the culprit but there are other appliances...
