RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Our new Bobcat

We picked up our Bobcat two weeks ago, and I have been settlin' in. I wrote up a blog post because it is so much easier to put pictures in. Covering step stools, velcro, curtains, and containers for the cubbies. https://sierrashadow.wordpress.com/2015/06/29/overdue-posting/ Most of this will...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Boondock Recommenation - Twain Harte and Strawberry

Carry water.. The campgrounds may be open, but they have the water turned off for drought purposes. PM me if you want a quiet culdesac in Twain Harte. I won't be home, but can spread the news between the neighbors.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Low cost Eagle dinette table

Wow Groovy Dad, I really like that pull out, expanding table for a couch. It makes my idea of using an ironing board pretty cheesy, but the price was right ($2) at a yard sale, it's adjustable height, and it can go outside if desired.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West A Really Cool Step Idea (I've never seen these before...)

I have spent the last 20 minutes looking though my file of pictures "stolen" off the Internet. I can't find it, but someone posted a simple step made from a 2x2x20 inch block of wood with holes drilled in each end. Then simple rope is knotted, threaded through the hole, passed behind the tire...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Differences between the Cougar and Puma models

I can answer the cassette question because we just got one made by ATC and cassette was not an option. But they do build a great product.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Portable Air Condioner in your FWC?

I think I saw an example of someone venting out through the turnbuckle door. The difference between East and West is humidity. Our hot doesn't feel as hot as your hot. But believe me, it still can get plenty hot here.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Bombsight Build Thread

I checked out your flickr build, and love the rain protection for the generator (a rubbermaid tub inverted, with a hole for the switch). I love that it makes it less visible and likely to get stolen, too. Are you sure there is enough ventilation?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Water container suggestions?

For less than 20$ I bought a kerosene siphon pump that is battery operated and fits in the top of aquatainers or Reliance jugs. Works for me. It doesn't seal the opening though so you either pull it out or create some kind of cork around it.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Want pictures of Bobcat shell dinette

Does anyone have pictures of what ATC does these days for a side dinette? I am headed to the factory in a few days to order and want to have a "clearer picture" of my options. So excited to be finally changing my profile tagline. It's been a long time coming.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Need some input here CA state parks.

I love this park, but beware. The road in is very narrow and windy. I don't know that I would want to do it pulling a tent trailer.

Take whatever you can get and be thankful. Since the flood, there are so few sites, it is a crap shoot. Upper Pines toward the back is shady and close to the Happy Isle Shuttle stop, so that is where I try for. North Pines is a little too close to the stables for my preference. Lower Pines is...

You can trick google (or other search engines) by typing something like bear proof FWC site:www.wanderthewest.com That way it only searches the site you want. It works way better than the built in search here.
