They hold up on rough roads but need to be dry. I had one under the side so it was out of the rain. However it died driving in a downpour. I now have a new sensor mounted in side the propane door. Not sure how good the reading is but close to outside.

I know one taller Hawk was made for Dan Nelson (100acrehuphalump) from WTW. He does not need a ladder to check the top of the camper.

LED voltage gauge at a min. Cheap and easy install. This is mine runs on switch to 12v socket that is to the right of it. $$ no problem nothing beats the TriMetric

Getting old, I carry the speaker lift. Use it about 1/2 the time.

Housekeeping tents are side by side. You walk in from the paring lot. I am sure camping is not allowed in the parking lot. Maybe you could sleep with the top down. Picture below was from my April trip to Yosemite. I stayed in the tent cabins years ago, too noisy to sleep.

Drains very slow. If I want to drain the tank fast I turn on the sink and use both drains.

No need to cut the frame. I just removed the skin and mounted fans to the frame. Good luck with your install.

It is a pressure thing I am sure. Cracking a window cuts the noise or moving the heater vent to recirculate will reduce the noise. Neighbor down the street has a Tundra and Hawk like mine he said he has no wind noise. He does have an inflatable boot for his rear window pass through. A first...

Wind noise on my 2005 Tundra and my 2002 Hawk with short cabover was unbearable. WOP-WOP LOUD. Wind deflector made it go away. 2013 Hawk with large cabover was better. I still use the wind deflector and the Tundra is as quite as my Rav4.

In 2013 I sold my 2002 Hawk without the extended cabover for $7500. I have attached a video of the interior so you can compare to what you have. I also changed the couch into a side dinette. Check to see what they are selling for I think you will be pleased. Good luck with your sale.
