RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Mounting a Propane tank on rear ext. wall ?

Thx guys. i do have a propex propane, that i need to install, and i figure it would be better with a 5 lb propane tank. i still have not dressed up the inside of my atc shell, and the more i look at the std propane door, and the space it will take up inside, i am trending away from it. i will...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Mounting a Propane tank on rear ext. wall ?

Does anyone have a recommendation on a brkt/box to mount a propane tank to the rear exterior wall of camper ? I was planning on mounting inside, but the more i think about it, the amount of space it requires might not be worth it, for my type of camping. in the summer, i dont use much propane...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West My truck is feeling its age

i think u did the right thing with the 2015. less worries, better systems, brakes, everything. i happen to have a 2015, and it drives like a very nice sedan. and if we ended up in a bad accident, i think it would be much safer than a 400k truck. i think safety needs to be factored into these...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 1985 Grandby - Another Rebuild

i was looking at one of the new camper company layouts, and they are kind of a swiss army knife for configuration. the one thing i liked, is that they put riv nuts into the frame, all over the place, and available inside the camper. the idea, is that if you need to add something later, the...

impressed ! i wonder what the strength of those non-weld welds are? my only critique is that i think i would have raised the height of the camper portion over the cab a bit to give a little more space

marty at atc advised me to use clear finger nail polish on the scew thing-a-ma-gig, to hold it in place, once it is in a good working position. nail polish is easier to break free, if u need to , than other thread locs.

the super tramp is interesting. if it is 1200 lbs, that is something. i wonder what the poundage differential between mid size, and full size trucks is though. but the pricing is a bit on the high side for me. the super pacific is interesting with their use of extrusion and ability to add...

nice video. great fish ! folks dont just catch fish like that on the deschutes - except back when we had some good steelhead runs. the fishing style is very similar to 'swinging' for steel. todd does great videos. i am sure he had to spend a lot of time to edit out the other fishermen and...

i am going to do the same with my atc. its a 2020, and has led, but the light is in the old school fixture, and not sealed. after dirt roads, i have to remove lens to clean out the dust. so, sealed would be a good thing. and maybe some type of dimming function

am no expert on pricing, but my first reaction, is that the price is not too bad. if you add solar, which i recommend, that will add a few bucks. i saw an ad for a newer used FWC, full size, and i think they were asking around $25k

did you happen to have left some food in the camper that the bear detected from scent?? i have read that some folks use some type of motion sensing alarm, with siren. you can turn on/off remotely. if that bear was successful in finding something, it will probably try and check it out again...
