Seems like for the most part MBC is right. Tracks from vehicle travel seem to be very transitory on the playa surface. Maybe only issue in these changing times is a fully flooded playa seems to be a rare occurrence as we see wet winters with lots of snow melt not so often these days. "My"...

While on this subject and maybe someone can just direct me to the appropriate thread but is there a repair type kit for the bug screen/windows?? My long in the tooth 85 Palomino has many tears from age/cracking and a heavy bug season could be ahead.

Yep, everywhere we traveled (coming into Hart from Warner Valley/Plush) was bone dry. Did not get out in the hinterlands around the Alvord Playa as planned but I would surmise that it is dry also. Obviously if you ventured into the high country you might encounter sheltered snow drifts or muddy...

When I had this up on Facebook on Monday, it seems maybe a couple of people may have mis-interpted this as one hell-acious meteor shower. Really looking forward to trying this shot again with a little less steam coming off the pool.

This looks very practical. I hardly ever use my table (in my Palomino) as it is such a pain in the rear to work around and the "bum scoot" is really annoying. Fortunately I have no Littlees to deal with but I do have lots of rubbish.

Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. First modification I did to my used camper was head down to a friends upholstery shop for a new firm foam pad with a better quality cover. A bit on the spendy side but really good for my back plus spruced up the retro (1985) look a bit. Couch still on the list.
