Great pics, thanks for sharing. I'm a little confused, how do you get more than 5 pictures in one post?

HELP, What step combo do U use to enter & exit camper?

TT, The prototype is still in use and going strong, I'd really prefer something sleeker and more finished but just haven't gotten around to it. If it ain't broken...well you know the rest.

HELP, What step combo do U use to enter & exit camper?

Tail Gate Construction At the request of 2llamas here are a few more shots of the tail gate and answers to llamas questions about the construction and attachment. Remember this was built as a prototype out of mostly material I had on hand and a few misc. bolts from the hardware store...

First solo trip with new Hawk

Jack, We ran out of propane for the first and hopefully the last time about 3 am on the last day of our last trip, a little cold in the morning and no gas for morning coffee. While the tank gage doesn't register full correctly it turns out it does register empty correctly, I'm thinking I'll pay...

    Galley Question

Rob, Having the ability to cook inside is nice when the weather is bad or the morning is cold or you get into camp late and just need a quick hot meal. The saving in weight doesn't seem like a big consideration when you're buying the lightest camper available on the market. You would gain a...

    replacing the sensor

terri, I had to move the sensor in our camper when I added the corner cabinet, 2 screws and 2 wires, you should be able to do it yourself without any trouble. Best of Luck.

    Mini Dinette for the Eagle

terri, The birch plywood came from Home Depot at a reasonable price. I found I didn't like the birch on the lower seat boxes so I had Chicali at FWC service ship me 4- 2'x2' pieces of their photo vinyl plywood to match the existing boxes. Shower pictures will be coming soon.

    Mini Dinette for the Eagle

Scott, We've used the dinette on three trips now and absolutely love it. The convenience and versatility of the drop leaf table mounted out of the isle is working great for us. There's much more space for cooking and eating and generally moving around the camper than before. Not to mention...

    First trip west

Very nice shots buzz, all the views very familiar. We've been in this area for 30 plus years and never grow tired of the beauty of Lake Tahoe. I'm glad you caught good weather in the off season to enjoy it. Your reports and photos have been great, keep 'em coming.

Camper Jacks for 36" high Truck Bed, Granby Camper

S-G, Looking good. You might want to consider more 2x4's under the camper floor. It really should be supported around the whole perimeter and in two places through the field to avoid over stressing the plywood connections.

    First trip west

buzz, Now you're getting into our home territory, hope you have some time to spend around Lake Tahoe, it would be well worth it. Best of Luck.

    Coffee makers

Ed, We've used the paper towel method in the past and found a recycled filter a much better solution, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Replaced my Granby Front Planel in Alabama

Good Job, it does look like the factory did it, nice and clean. It's hard to believe that someone would use peg board for that application, definitely a failure waiting to happen.

    My Trip To Lourdes

The 2" mattresses are much too thin for comfortable sleeping, we added 2" of extra foam to ours and the combination is working out well.

How about a 85 Pound Salmon

You're not alone, now that you mention it that very ugly fish does look a bit like a graboid. Time to brake out the dynamite and remote control trucks...and don't forget the umbrellas.

    Coffee makers

We've been using the single cup drip filters for most of twenty years and the coffee comes out great as long as you remember to restock the filters before leaving home. We ran out of filters on a short trip this summer and had to recycle a few, not the best coffee I'd ever had. We also bought a...
