    Levelling camper/truck at camp

Combination of plastic blocks and a little digging. It only took us two years to discover how much better the fridge works with dead on leveling, though it can be a real pain to get it that level.

Death Valley Days 2009, Patrick Report

PV, Great pictures and write up, thanks much. Sorry to hear that the toy broke but glad it was just a bumper mount (though in your case a bumper is a bit more technical than most of us). Enjoy.

    Where are your favorite campgrounds?

DD, It's looking like mid October some time but timing is still a bit up in the air. Hiking boots, bikes, full ice chest, hopefully lots of sun screen, and maybe water shoes for the Narrows, still in the planning stages.

    Where are your favorite campgrounds?

DD, Funny that you mention Cathedral Gorge, on the same day last week without talking to each other about it my wife and I both decided it would be a great stop over for a future trip to Zion. She read your thread in the Back Roads of Nevada report and I spotted it on the map and did a little...

    Hi Everybody

Welcome aboard and best of luck finding the "right camper" for your needs. I also had an '82 Toyota truck with the 22R engine that I drove until 2002. While it might be a little slow at times I think it could haul camper with just some small suspension mods. Keep us posted.

FWC -- UNDER WATER ! (ouch)

Sunman, I think you're correct on the thicker cabover area, also looks like the lower trim on the cabover is different and the double brown stripe in the siding is missing. Close but not quite.

    Fridge and pop-up trouble

fins, Is the door open when you're trying to pop up? If not then that is cause of the problem as the air exchange is critical for ease of lifting the lid. If that isn't the issue than I'm at a loss to explain it and will be interested in the final solution. I see sunman had the same idea and...
