FWC BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL - FWC "Table"

What's This All Mean? If there is any one thing that these kinds of postings say, plus the numerous other postings on how many people have re-designed the seating in their campers (including me) is that 4WC needs to really think about the whole seating and table offerings for their products...

    New Eagle owner in Europe

Ideas Adding AC Power Hello sLOVEEagle, Welcome to the forum. I also have an Eagle (2008). I bought my camper as a empty shell and built the inside myself. My recommendation to you is to ask for assistance from the 4WC Company. They are very helpful. I added 110 V receptable to my...

Great Minds Think Alike Love the way you are using those little LED lamps. I have them also placed in 4 places on the wood parts of the ceiling. They are great when you don't need a lot of light (like during dinner or drinking a glass of wine) and don't need to be draining the main battery...

    Homemade Awning & Bug Net

For those of you folks who like to do-it-yourself and don't want to spend a lot of money. Here's how I did the awning thing. I used this in Alaska where there are a LOT of bugs and I had 3 inches of snow and wind on it and it held up pretty well. All parts were bought at Home Depot except for...

    New Eagle Owner

Awning Couldn't help noticing your awing to sit outside. I have spent some time work'n this issue with something simple. Hopefully, I can upload a picuture. Something I made from standard materials from HomeDepot. Inludes a bug net that can easly be removed. I tried to put this on the...

    New Eagle Owner

Adding Batteries David, You may wish to try out your camper over a few trips before adding more battery power; i.e. do you really 'need' more power? I find that one battery works pretty well but then we are conservative on the use of power. We have these really cool small LED standalone...

    Which air bags to buy?

Firestone I bought the Firestone ones last year. Had a flat tire last Summer and after that, one of the bags has had a very very slow leak (about 1 lb lost per day). Very frustrating cause I cannot find the leak. Pumped them up to about 80 lbs and sprayed bubble solution on entire fixture...

    Can you hear me now?

Awesome Hey Man, AWESOME PHOTOS!! We, as a group need to see more of the the "use" of the camper on the road, and not just the technical junk. It's such a pleasure to just see the experience of the camper, rather than just the how do I fix so and so. The bottom line for this camper is...

    Condensation

Another Northwest Input Also being from Seattle area; but camping in many other northern wet locations I have not found a solution. I just take a rag and wipe down the walls and ceiling. Oh...well....

New guy with a new mini home.

Great Story and welcome. I am beginning to see a lot of different people posting to this site from Washington. We may need to have a Washington rally one of these days! Mt Baker is one of my favorite hiking and cross-country skiing places! Cheers, Chris

    Boat for the Grandby recommendations.

Yakama rollers When I had my Landrover I carried two Kayaks all over Alaska on my roof. The Rover is as tall as the 4WC. Rolling a boat up there is much better than lifting. What I would do now with my Eagle is use the 2 brackets on the two rear corners (assuming you don't keep lift jacks...

    Atwood vs Suburban

Furnace used on 2008 FWC Just bought an Eagle shell this year (2008) and FWC installed the Atwood furnace in it. It is model series 8500-IV. Works great and I don't find that it uses a lot of my battery power. Chris:thumb:

Anyone have exoerience getting a camper shipped?

Camper Shipped to Me in Washinton Hi, YES! I did have 4WC ship my camper to me, and I live in Edmonds (very close to you in Seattle). It was fantastic. I met the folks at a Walmart just south of Seattle and they had it installed in about an hour. They did a very professional job and I...

    Digital Themostat (aftermarket install)

Follow-up to Stan's Recommendation I don't think they make the 42995B any more. I just bought the 42999B at Fred Meyer (NorthWest) store for $26.00. I have installed it and it works fine. I think Lowes also sells this brand. The lowest temp that you can set it for is 45 degrees F. Use the...

    Suspension question

Interesting. I have same bags and I find that on one of the bags I am losing around 1-2 lbs per day. I have done all kinds of testing and found no leaks. And, it only happens on one side. Other bag is solid.

    Winter Insulation

Hi. I found your comment interesting. I called 4WC yesterday and asked about adjusting the thermostat and mentioned how bad the user manual was. The Service Dept really had no idea of how to adjust it (at least the person who I talked to). So I guess my question is were you using the factory...

    Galley Question

Reply to Terri Chris, Thanks for the reply. How big is your water storage and is it under the sink? Did you put the drain to the outside of the camper and if so how did you cut into the exterior of the camper (that seems to be the painful part) I would love to see a picture of the metal...

What kind of Four Wheel Camper are you?

Little of Everything Fantastic replies by everyone! What a group. For my wife and I, we have just moved up from a 30 year tenting life. We do not care for RV campgrounds, but enjoy camping by a river where with no facilities. We look for extremely remote places, with no services. No...

    Galley Question

Reply to Terri Actually I really like the position of the stove above furnace. It simplified the LP gas piping. Also, I have a metal shield that is hinged and thus folds up flat. When cooking, I place this metal shield in corner (I made it from a piece of sheet metal from Home Depot) and it...

HELP, What step combo do U use to enter & exit camper?
