    Turnbuckle replacement size?

Unfortunately not with the 4 wheel swift at the moment and installing camper next week. I'd like to replace the aluminum turnbuckles with steel and a jam nut while I'm installing the camper. You guys know the size turnbuckle used? Thanks, Nick

Jack Bracket Extensions pertaining to 2016+ Tacoma

Thanks for the dimensions. Mule is out of the extensions. Like I said I can fabricate my own and maybe I should just in case. I'll take some measurements of the rig tomorrow and see what I decide. Thanks

Jack Bracket Extensions pertaining to 2016+ Tacoma

I've got an 18 tacoma with oversized tires. They stick out, if I had to guess about an inch from the fender well at most. I was told the clearance on a stock tacoma is pretty tight from the rear fender well to the jack stand when installing the camper. I also can't currently find any extensions...

    Tailgate on or off...can't decide

Picking up my swift for my tacoma next week can't decide to take the tailgate off or not. Definitely like the look with it off but it looks like the tailgate still offers a nice little bench and step to access the camper and maybe some added protection from the elements if kept on. I was also...

Overland Solar MPPT controller compatibility with Li

I figured that was why you switched to the 712 because you can't use both with the overland display. Thanks for the info.

Overland Solar MPPT controller compatibility with Li

Thanks for getting back to me. Just trying to save some cash by not replacing my mppt and display if I can while adding Bluetooth if possible. Whats the major benefit by adding a bvm 712? Just curious.

Overland Solar MPPT controller compatibility with Li

Hey thanks for the input Astropuppy. I remember looking into a victory blutetooth dongle and I think I brought it up to Brian at overland solar and he thought that it wouldn't work. Just to confirm this is the victron dongle that your using...

    FWC Swift

Hey buddy, got a single renogy lithium with the 160W overland panel on my swift. Still currently building my setup as well. Feel free to reach out with any and all questions you've got. I'll do the same. Running Firestone bags on daystar cradles well with full OME leaf packs. Love the ride. Nick

For anyone on the fence about Lithium - 100Ah Renogy LiFePO4 for $499

HQST?! This is starting to sound like a too good to be true kinda deal. Mine should be showing up up Monday/Tues. Can anyone else confirm that they either got a renogy or HQST in their order?

For anyone on the fence about Lithium - 100Ah Renogy LiFePO4 for $499

Hey thanks Kent, I've looked at that manual and the specs as well. I'm looking for a bit more then what the specs page is stating, which isn't much. Looking for float, tail current, puekert ex and some others settings as well. Maybe it's all the same. I'm obviously learning about the Li and like...

For anyone on the fence about Lithium - 100Ah Renogy LiFePO4 for $499

Thanks for the reply guys. Did some research on the battery as well, mixed reviews...as always. Looks like renogy is having a hard time coming up with the charge parameters for this battery or bad customer service, not sure. Unlike battle born those charge parameters were all over the internet...

For anyone on the fence about Lithium - 100Ah Renogy LiFePO4 for $499

Thanks for sharing! Just bought one myself. Too good of a price to wait. I won't be able to get into the 4wc till October though. Any info on the shelf life of of a Lifepo4 before it really needs to be charged?

    DIY Lithium battery upgrade

Not sure on the Bluetooth Vic. Thanks for checking that out. That monitor I'm sure is a bit of a hassle to change settings too but at least I've got the option. My old rig had a decent Bluetooth victron setup. Definitely and easy way to monitor. Once I get to the camper I'll definitely get...

    DIY Lithium battery upgrade

Hey Vic, I'm a bit confused on what actual controller I do have, not with the camper right now and won't be till October. I found the manual for the mppt display. In the manual there stating its a 15/30A controller. Either way I should be able to make adjustments to the battery manufacturers...

    DIY Lithium battery upgrade

I'm sure Vic will have an answer for this question, not hijacking the thread and somewhat on the same topic as the thread and really I should just call overland on this question but the question is does the four wheel camper mppt overland controller have the parameters to work with a single...

Overland Solar MPPT controller compatibility with Li

https://www.overlandsolar.com/products/100-watt-sunpower-panel-osm100 I know the link says 100W but it's a fully rigid 150W on overland's website. I'm tracking on the power needed. Seems like a Lithium might be making more sense to me based on weight and area restrictions as well. I'm curious...

Hey Rich, thanks alot for the information. I'm really trying to keep the overland controller for now. I'll definitely give Brian a call and see how well a Li batt will work with the controller on not. I'm aslo hoping I can just stick with one single panel on my yakima racks. I'm looking at...

Overland Solar MPPT controller compatibility with Li

Hey thanks Jon, yeah I've been searching and haven't seen too much regarding the os controller other then its stated to be a 15/30 amp. Really trying to keep the OS controller as well. I'm looking at a single 200W panel, I know it'll be a stretch but really trying to keep the weight down and...

Largest watt Panel for stock 2020 Swift Shell Model

Hey Craig and all, thanks for the response and input. Hoping I can survive with one single 200W panel. Probably go rigid, probably go with a ronogy 200W and an additional deca 12v agm. I really don't want to purchase another battery but with a compressor fridge and furnace I probably should. Nick

Largest watt Panel for stock 2020 Swift Shell Model

I was checking out that semi flexible panel by overland as well. I noticed it had mount holes too, I wonder if you could forgo building a frame for it and directly mount it to the yakima rails. I'm sure more potential for damage.
