RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Diesel Heater Installs

Correct. Enough length so that I could get the muffler in it. I ran it without the muffler to see if the muffler made much difference and it does so I put it back on.

It does not, it is right at the back edge of the bed. Exhaust also has a magnetic mounted hanger for ease of removal if I were to take camper off, even though I have my camper bolted down.

The sleeve is a piece of 2" aluminum pipe tack welded to 3/16" aluminum plate and drilled out for the exhaust to pass through. Tried to get you some pictures, hope this helps. You can also see that I made a bulkhead style pass through for the fuel line.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West New BFG HD Terrains - Any opinions yet?

About to order my 3rd set of 255/85/16 BFG KM, the new set will be KM3's. Load range E always for me as I am about 700 lbs over GVWR with Eagle shell on 09 Tacoma. This tire and size has done well, never had a flat yet. I air down all 4 to18 psi.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Pros and cons of permanent mounting.

Bolted our Eagle to the Tacoma frame, no worry with turnbuckles getting loose. I can unbolt and remove if I needed to much quicker and easier than dealing with turnbuckles through the access doors. I haven't removed the camper in 6 years. Ron

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West If you can only choose one location, where would you place a fan?

Ours is over the cooking area and works well for pulling air through the windows at the bed area. Don't think that I'd want the fan directly over the sleeping area because of the noise being so close.
