    a few reasons for the butyl tape arrows in the first photo are of cracks in the dried caulking...photos in the next few are the stain track along the window frame These are of a 1958 I'm salvaging right now

    OK....you've got one of the nicest interiors I've seen....here's the deal... Original window and vent seal were done with linseed oil putty strips...they dry out and crack...that's why you'll see staining around the windows and vents....Pull the windows off...clean off the linseed oil...

    The 12v function on these norcolds is designed for a traveling mode....it should be hooked up to a battery which is under constant charging and isolated so when the truck is turned off...the battery function is disconnected.(key off)... that 12v function will draw down a standard starting...

    Brian has the inside track on those tanks....the have baffles in them as far as the emblems go....your Cab Over should have 3 emblems with a CO additional small emblem directly under the Alaskan emblem...if I can remember how to post pictures I just re-finished a set of three for my new CO...
