    The older fridges are a tough nut....not only did they carbon up fast...but they were vented into the interior of the campers....not good take a look at my gallery...there's an adjustment I made to vent to the exterior and cover the interior vent....takes a little time but well worth the effort...

    be careful.....utility bodies typically have a 49" bed width....many of the older campers have pop outs of different widths at the rear section at the refer and comode/closet area....I've seen anywhere from 6-10 inches in the pop-outs...Alaskan made a special version just for utility...

    Older Alaskan campers were all bolted to the bed when Alaskan delivered them (many are these days as well)...they were designed to be bolted down...all 4 corners. Keep in mind, you're bolting plywood to a steel bed...which one will give out first??? you guess ;) grannys camper came bolted down...
