I use the receiver for a 4 bike carrier I've modified for the front...they are handy (and the ferry's to Canada don't measure it as extra length either)....

Another vote for the bigger Melita and a good thermos....I've been working with that method for a pretty long time and it's hard to beat for storage and holding....just bring more good coffee... there's not much that will beat the smell of fresh coffee brewing when you're camping....AHHHH

I've used this on polyethylene plastics with good results...with any adhesive the trick is going to be clean surfaces and a filler or patch of like material.... this is a super glue of sorts specially formulated for plastics, it will not fill voids so a patch would be necessary...

We seat 4 at the table (adults) cozy...front dinette and I have camped for weeks with 4....2 adults and 2 children....now that the kids are grown they do go camping with us now and then....2 inside the camper and 2 separate tents :D...but all cooking,dishes,eating....is done in the camper...4...

I recently bought another Alaskan Camper to refurb and the owner had a small heater he had built for the winter...the camper was purchased in Gig Harbor Washington...in the woods...very humid/cold/drippy.....and the interior of the camper was as dry as a bone...stored outside under an aluminum...

your electrical system is where you want to spend a bit more...and engineering the system to perform in the worst of conditions....very smart. Marginal system "might" make it...and as far as oversizing the wires....again, good call...that little extra makes the difference....peak performance...
