Wow Stan - you were very lucky - that thing was just about gone.

DD, It would be cool if you could set the Sign-In page so that the cursor defaults into the User Name block when that page loads. That is all.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West A Bad Day...........

Timely... I just mentioned that my driveshaft/ujoints have been squeaking for a couple months, and I can't get it in for service until next week, so I have to cancel the CO FWC rally due to maintenance. Cappy gives me the "bailmatic" moniker. At the same time I was bailing, another Dodge dies...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Up For A Little Friendly Competition?

Ahh, I see a friend of mine from work joined in - well, I can still hope for a podium finish. Maybe not worthy of getting my seat redone at an upholsterer (firmer and in leather), but perhaps worth an Engle?

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Up For A Little Friendly Competition?

Great - hope a few others join in. But then again - finishing in 2nd place would be a serious triumph worthy of buying a new toy.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Up For A Little Friendly Competition?

Can we start the 1st Annual Football Pickem contest? I've created a private group at a site I've used for a number of years. They have a good software package, and give away some decent prizes. It's just a local radio station - not a bad deal. Takes just a few minutes to sign up, and a few...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Edgestar Portable Fridge / Freezer - 43 Qt. 447.00

The other Edgestar thread reinforces what I am about to claim about Mr. ouzel... You are a troll. Without saying so, I had that impression also. It's odd for a persons first post in a forum to be one that is promoting a product. The capt will have to drop the hammer.

Wow cool hand made just like my Fiat. Installed. Rides very nice. I had not truly realized how bad the beast had gotten to riding. Feels like a "better than new" truck. Worn in, but rides like new. I will add-a-leaf to the back end - in this picture I'm parked where the terrain is a few...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West The drive to Alaska

Rich, I might want to tagalong... I'm planning on hitting the Arctic Circle next summer. Basic plan is to go mid-June, and take 3 weeks. Again, generally, planning on hitting a hotel every 3rd night type of trip as the wife will be with me. I am open to going solo, but a small caravan might...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Edgestar Portable Fridge / Freezer - 43 Qt. 447.00

Ouzel, I'd love to hear your first impressions on this. I have been kicking the idea around for a few months. With winter about here, I'll probably just wait on it, but am interested in your review of the chiller, as well as your location in the truck or camper.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Steps Wanted

I think you speak of those scissor steps - they were in there several months I think - I might be mistaken, but it seems that is what I saw. Guy probably posted them and never returned.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Fast Gun Derringers

It didn't take long to find the post - I kind of remembered the post was a trip report, so I just looked in there, it was the first one I looked at. The search tool wasn't a help. HOWEVER If you go out to google - in the box type "derringer" then ":www.wanderthewest.com/forum" that thread...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Fast Gun Derringers

Jay, Slow minds think alike evidently. I recall that post with the picture - I said to myself, hey, self, those look small enough to replace my current ones, and look like they work in about 15 seconds per corner versus the 10 minutes that I spend on the current setup. I went out to some...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Like To Fly Low

I like the guy looking at his map while only a few hundred feet off the ground - that's one cool pilot. They probably need a drivers license given how low they get at times. The Tornado is an impressive airplane. Yeah, that was cool hand luke - I had to rewind it to be sure I saw what I...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West One More Time

I gotta throw my vote in for E rated BFG AT's, although I think we may have had a conversation where you mentioned they weren't for you. +1 I've had the Mich's once, not bad, but I think I have an addiction to the look of the BFG AT - it doesn't hurt that it's a seriously sweet ride.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West For Those That Have Rancho'S On A 2500...

Hey Fish, Thanks for the input - I have looked at a couple of truck suspension projects over the last year, and one of them was quite detailed and the person did a Kore suspension after having just done a RevTek on the truck. He did a step by step "How-To" for it, and it was impressive...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West For Those That Have Rancho'S On A 2500...

I'm getting ready to order some Rancho 9000's to replace my stock shocks - 70,000 miles on a 2004 Dodge 2500 Gasser. I've had Rancho's on a previous heavy camper hauler, and liked the performance of the shock quite a bit. I always have the FWC on the truck, so I probably wont need to dicker...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West 2nd Annual AZ Pop-Up Bowl

Tell me the dates again. October 9-10-11 - AZ Sept 11-12-13 - CO Barko - if there is a way to not do the spincter clinchers, I may do the CO run - I thought they were doing the Alpine Loop - which is pretty much makes me askeered.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West 2nd Annual AZ Pop-Up Bowl

I have every intention of making it down for this. AZ is my "home" state - meaning when my daughter is done with school, that is where the wife and I plan on making our final home. We lived there in the early 90's and still fly down 4 or 5 times a year for getaway weekends. I don't think...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Bike Rack Ideas?

My hitch rack actually has a threaded bolt that goes through the lock pin hole, tightens down, then extends through the other side for the cotter key/safety lock doodad. No bounce. Very nice.
