I'am looking to try some aluminum camper steps.I saw some for sale a while back in the old format classified section? anyway,anyone have experience with these good or bad or have some for sale? Thanks!

I think you speak of those scissor steps - they were in there several months I think - I might be mistaken, but it seems that is what I saw. Guy probably posted them and never returned.

Hey robo,

I don't have any for sale but they are fantastic. They are quick and make it easy for any adult, child or four legged to get into the camper. I am glad they came with the camper. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hope this helps.

Good Camping!

You might look at this link:
http://www.adventurerv.net/hijacker-scissor-steps-step-quadruple-camper-p-2251.html

These are 4 steps (36"), but there are other lengths available. This was the best price I found with shipping about $25.

Yes,that it is the(scissors style)I'm looking for. The Grandkids have a little harder time than me getting in and out and would be little safer I think.I'm glad to hear of good experiences with using them also.

Here are 2 companies that sell the sizzor steps that I know of ...

Torklift = http://www.torklift.com/p.php?w_page=glowstep

Brophy Machine Works = http://www.crbrophy.com/stairs.html

Most cusotmers I have seen with these attached to the FWC's get the "4 step" version.

I'm sure their could be some variables though, deprending on your camper model and the height of your truck bed.

(sample pictures attached)

Hope this helps.
